William Buechl Obituary

Buechl, William Karl Of North Palm Beach, FL. and Delafield, WI. Peacefully passed February 21, 2017; 86 years of age. Father to Mark W. Buechl and Julie (Rick) Artz. Former husband to Marilyn P. Knight of Franklin, TN. Brother to Michael W. (Mary) Buechl. Uncle to David (Theresa) and Anne Buechl; Great Uncle to Henry and Jack. Predeceased by his brother, Robert Henry Buechl. Bill was a lifelong achiever and leader. He captained Wauwatosa High School to it's first state basketball championship, and played for the University of Wisconsin Badgers. After becoming the first in his family to earn a college degree, he served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. In addition to achieving Chartered Life Underwriter status at Northwestern Mutual Life Ins. Co., he led his Real Estate Brokerage for over twenty years. Bill was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Wauwatosa, WI, and will be truly missed. Remembrances to Alzheimer's Association. or University of Wisconsin Athletic Foundation greatly appreciated.
