William Demshar Obituary

Demshar, William P. "Bill" Lifelong resident of West Allis. Passed to Eternal Life Thursday, October 1, 2009, age 81 years. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Baraga). Dear father of Judy Demshar, Charles (Diane) Demshar, Barbara (James) Fisher and William A. (Kathleen) Demshar. Loving grandfather of Christopher (Elizabeth) and Andrew (Heather) Warner, Lauren and Eric Demshar, Miranda and William Fisher. Great-grandfather of Van Warner. Brother-in-law of Leonard Baraga. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation at the Funeral Home Sunday 4PM until Lodge Service at 7PM. Funeral Service Monday 10AM at the Funeral Home. Interment Highland Memorial Park. Member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #18, CFU Sloga #1994 and President of SNPJ Jolly Allis #686. Bill served in the Navy from 1946-1948, participated in the first and second atomic bomb test, in the Pacific, Operation Crossroads on the Bikini Atoll. He started his career in the furnace business with his father. He became an active member of local #18 Retirees. Bill worked at the State Fair Park as a backstage security officer.
