Bill was my first teacher for Function Point Analysis at one Ifpug conference of several years ago. I enjoyed the time spent with him at the IFPUG conferences, his humor and his "buttons". I'm very sad for his death and I'll miss him.

I am so very sad to hear of Bill's passing. Although I knew him from the conferences, I didn't get the pleasure of working with him closely until April of this year. He was such a kind, gentle man. He will be missed.

Dear Judy,
You and Bill will always hold a special place in my heart. I have very special memories of the 3 of us --riding the subway, touring the Vatican and our many adventures while in Rome. Bill and I first met in 1987 in Atlanta -- and we always remained fast friends. I will miss Bill's smile and warm embrace. Please take care of yourself, Judy. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Love, Mary Dale

I first met Bill at the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) Annual Conference about 10 years ago and almost every year ever since. He was the first IFPUG President from 1986 to 1987. All of us IFPUG members will always remember Bill and his contribution to software measurement.
My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Bill's family and close friends.
