William F. "Bill" Martin Jr.

William Martin Obituary

Was welcomed into the arms of God on Tuesday, February 9, 2005 at the age of 79. Bill was born on February 7, 1926, in Cambridge, MA, the son of Lillian and William Sr. He was the Loving Husband of Cora Alice. Devoted father of Elizabeth (Curt) Cerf, Barbara Fields, Jane Peterson and Mary Keziah. Beloved grandfather of 8, Catherine, Ryan, Aaron, Lauren, Megan, Nina, Emma and Billy. Bill served in the Coast Guard in WWII, graduated from MSOE, worked for the Village of Pewaukee Police Dept., Western Electric and retired from AT&T- Ameritech, after 38 year. He served as a Boy Scout Leader, church council president, Luther League Counselor and as a Village of Pewaukee Police commissioner and trustee. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, at the Galilee Lutheran Church, N24 W26430 Crestview Dr., Pewaukee at 12:00 noon. Visitation will also be held on Saturday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery in Pewaukee immediately following the service. Memorials in Bill's name may be directed to AngelsGrace Hospice, W359 N7430 Brown St. Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
