Susan, Bits, Willy and Tom...
My thoughts and prayers to you. In the short time I knew Bill, he started as my attorney and became a good friend. I had many great conversations and discussions with him. He will be deeply missed. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

While I did not know Bill as part of the Milwaukee Cornell Alumni group he and I were locker room buddies at Le Club for the past 20 years or so and talked many times about his being a fighter against his reoccuring cancer. I am sorry to lose this good friend.

My heart goes out to the Porter family in their time of sorrow, but, let it be known that Sr. left his wonderful mark in the world by helping to create one fine son, my friend Willy. If Willy's a chip off the 'ol block, and in this I'm sure there is no doubt, William Swensen Porter was one heck of a man!
In sympathy,

Porter Family, you are in our thoughts. We never got the chance to meet Mr. Porter, but we truly believe he must have been a great man as he had a hand in creating two special individuals in Tom and Willy Porter. We find the joy in the legacy he left here on Earth.

Dear Susan and family. Bill had been in our prayers. He was a very special friend to Susie and me. He was many things to many people. We just lost my Mom 1 month ago. They say as the hurt subsides the memories take over. Let's hope so. He will be missed.
