Frieda was born January 31, 1937 to Carroll & Mildred Parrish Lewallen after the family moved from Elwood, TX to Lemoore, CA. She grew to follow her three older brothers, Jack, Delton and Doug on their adventures. She was a spunky and fun-loving sister to them.
Frieda is survived by her children, Debbie (Bill) Smart, Dawn (Randy) Ridgeway, Barry (Lori) Warlick, Brian Warlick, John (Lorrie) Warlick; grandchildren, Terry, Dana (Jon) Dengel, Ryan (Kim) Smart, Lisa (John) Householder, Cody Wertz, Cory (Alex) Wertz, Brandon (Randi) Warlick, Brooke Warlick and Brian (Riley) Warlick, II; great-grandchildren, Britt, Jacob, Courtney, Amber, Bethany, and Paige Householder, Cody Wertz, Ben Warlick, Remy and Harper Warlick, William and Ingrid Smart, Ava, Jade, and Maya Dengel, and Henry, Bradley, Jayce, Jeremiah, Peyton, Emmy, Charlotte, Dallas, and Ruth; siblings, David Jack (Joanne)Lewallen, Delton Ray (Bonnie) Lewallen, Joe Douglas (Marilyn) Lewallen, Ronald Boyce (Nancy) Lewallen, and Linda Sue (Mike) Naill Erwin. She also leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frieda was preceded in death by her mother and father; brothers, Jack, Delton, Doug, and Ron; grandson, Cody Wertz; and step-father, Cy Naill.
Frieda was a graduate of Eureka High School, Class of 1955, after the family relocated there. She lived in several California towns including Walnut Creek, Arcata, Redding and Anderson. Frieda worked several different jobs to help provide for her family. She took in ironing and babysat for friends so that she could work from home while caring for her four children. Outside the home, she sold donuts and worked as a waitress in the Eureka area as well as in
Lewistown, Montana where she made her home until the time of her passing.
She loved to laugh and enjoyed dancing. Frieda was known by her family and friends for making, "Freedie Fudge." It was the best and always a highlight of family gatherings. She offered hospitality in her home and would serve one of her favorite meals consisting of pinto beans, cornbread and sliced onion. She also love fried potatoes cooked in bacon grease; anything cooked in bacon grease. Frieda loved creating works of art through her paintings and crafts. Her mom taught her to sew and crochet.
Frieda will be missed. She passed away November 12, 2025 in
Lewistown, Montana. Her family would like to express their appreciation for her care at Caslen Living Centers of
Lewistown, Montana. At her request, no services will be held; cremation has taken place.
