He was a good friend to my Dad, and I remember him visiting the Nowell Ave house many times. He even tried to teach me to ski one time. One time :) I'm so sorry for your loss

I remember Jackie and Alan working on cars in the alley between 11th & 12th Streets. Jack was great with a wrench.
At least now he's free from the back pain that plagued him, and in peace. He was one of our local characters, and I'll miss him.

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to meet Jack when I was learning how to be an adult and still remember his many words of wisdom.

Want to send my sympathies to my family during this sad time, and say my prayers are with you. I had a really nice visit with him last summer when we were up-took Uncle Jackie's cousin Daryl too (she was up visiting from Oregon also). He talked a lot about the old days-as I do family research & I was asking him some questions. Am especially glad now that I got to see him-certainly never thought that would be the last time-he was still such a great story teller-he got the gift from Grandpa :-)

Jack was a heck of a guy! Good pal and great spirit. He enjoyed every minute of his life and will leave an emptiness. My condolences to the family.
