Justin Busch Obituary
Justin William Busch, (August 24, 1976-July 13, 2022) died unexpectedly of a cardiac arrest at Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale, AZ. He was born and raised in Juneau, AK., the son of Robert "Keith" and Kimberly Busch.
Justin was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, boating, swimming, and snowboarding. He was an avid reader who loved history. A gifted writer, Justin expressed himself best with pen and paper and filled many notebooks with his writings.
When he was a child his parents often discovered him at the Juneau docks, diving for the coins that tourists threw off the ships. Later, Justin had a paper route and worked with his parents on property renovations.
Justin was an enthusiastic traveler and joined family and friends on numerous camping trips to Admiralty Island and elsewhere in Alaska in addition to participating in annual family vacations in the Lower 48.
Justin earned an AA degree in Transportation Management, got his CDL and hazmat endorsement and later studied diesel mechanics but his favorite job was driving his big 18 Wheeler across the country. Justin also worked on the Alaska Pipeline and drove truck on the ice road. Disabling injuries and declining health eventually deprived him of the ability to work and maintain social contacts.
Justin leaves behind his son Jordan Lee Busch, sister Emily Busch (Eyob), niece Ezri Bezuneh and parents Robert "Keith" and Kimberly Busch, along with uncles Rodney Busch (Jan), Kevin Busch (Beth), Ryan Busch (Kristy), Rory Busch (Kimberly), Dr. Lance Brigman (Sue), Nicolas Brigman (Theresa), Michael Hooper (Tina) and aunts Robin Hooper, Lisa and Megan Brigman, Lana Meyers (Joe), and Brooke Nash (Curt) along with many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myrna and Bill Brigman and Olivia and Bob Busch, and his Aunt Renita Cunningham (Mark). His family will remember that Justin always ended calls by saying he loved them.
Justin was close to his honorary uncles Bobby Carroll and Jerry Schilz and honorary aunt, the late Kay Schilz.
In accordance with Justin's wishes there will be no memorial service and his ashes will be interred at a later date.
