Stephen Hartman Obituary
Chip was a loving son, father, husband, and friend. His ever-present humor with its warmth, depth, and insight delighted our hearts. His generous kindness and compassion embraced and touched our souls. Chip possessed the nobility of a genuinely beautiful human being. The sheer pleasure, joy, and enrichment we enjoyed through his company will be missed forever, and our lives will forever be the lesser without him.
In keeping with his nature and character, those wishing to honor Chip may make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice. Condolences may be sent to 9390 Rivercourt Way, Juneau, AK 99801.

In a year filled with difficult news, this was the hardest to bear.
I was blessed to have known Chip as a young man, just realizing his place in the world, testing his skills and talents, discovering the opportunities awaiting him. A gentle and faithful soul, he nurtured and loved his family; he was the friend and neighbor one felt grateful to have.
Chip was steadfast in a modern world that does not seem to recognize or encourage such faith and courage. And now we, that modern world, are diminished in his absence.
With an aching heart and the deepest sympathy for you Linda and Vic, and your dear family, I offer the only love that matters: John 11:35-45.

Linda and Vic, I am so sorry to hear of your son's passing. Please accept my deepest condolences. May God hold you in His arms at this most difficult time. I remember him from his high school days and he was a gentlemen and had a warm smile. Hugs to you Linda. ❤
