Clifton "Pete" Chisholm

Clifton "Pete" Chisholm, 79, a native and resident of Houma, went to his Heavenly home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 at Samart Funeral Home (4511 West Park Ave.) from 9:00 am until service time. A religious service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by his children, Patricia Chisholm (Frank Manning), Clifton Chisholm (Sarah), Paul Marcel, Christine Martinez (Tony), Lana Marcel (John LeBoeuf) and Corey Marcel (April); grandchildren, Kember Watts, Christopher Watts, Cole Watts, Ava Chisholm, Gabe Chisholm, Cassie Chisholm, Brady Marcel, Ashli Marcel, Sonny Marcel, Nikki Robertson, Brandon Martinez, Danielle Martinez, Kendall Martinez, Kodie Marcel, Blaize Marcel, EJ Marcel, Brennen LeBoeuf, Victoria Marcel, Madison Marcel; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Watts, Koltyn Skaggs, Waylon Watts, Nesiah Watts, Emoree Watts, Brynleigh Watts, Abigail Fazzio, Landen Marcel, Maverick Marcel, Cooper Robertson, Kayden Martinez, Addison Martinez, Amyri Marcel, Reese Marcel, and Baby Robertson due in September 2025; siblings, Linda Mcklemurry, Cindy Morgan, Mike Chisholm and Bill Chisholm; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nettie Fonseca Chisholm; granddaughter, Emma Chisholm; parents, Charlie Chisholm and Carolyn Chisholm; sisters, Charlotte Durham and Karin Stinson; and sister-in-law, Rosa Chisholm. Pete will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a truck driver for many years and always enjoyed the drive. He loved eating boiled peanuts, watching Westerns, fishing and going to the casino. Pete will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, but the family has comfort in knowing he is at peace. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor in Houma as well as the staff at Terrebonne General Health System for their care and compassion.
