Henry Stegall Obituary
Henry loved bowling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling and camping with family and friends. He was a 7-year veteran of USAF (1959-1966). He retired from IBM after 37 years as a Service Rep (1966-2003). Henry had a passion for bowling and served as the secretary of Houma Bowling Association (1984-2005), manager of Bayou Bowling Association (2006-2013), member of the Bayou Region USBC Hall of Fame, and a member of the Board of Directors, Past President, Life Member & Hall of Fame Member of the LA State Bowling Association. He was a member and past Master of Germania #46 Masonic Lodge. Henry was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his children, Brigitte Kinsella & husband Tom and Michael Stegall & wife Kelli; grandchildren, Jennifer Kinsella Vogel, Steven Kinsella & wife Amber, Shelbi Stegall Mire & husband Callaway and Kelsi Stegall; great-grandchildren, Alyssah Kinsella, Lainey Vogel, Blakelynn Vogel, Breiyah Kinsella, Remi Dominque, Pierce Henry Kinsella and Paul Thomas Kinsella; sisters, Betty Stegall Carpenter and Edith Ziegler; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Joy Bolton Stegall; parents, Capt. Henry M. Stegall Sr. & Mildred Ziegler Stegall.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Grace Lutheran Church, Houma, Louisiana from 9:00 am until service time. Military Honors will begin at 10:30 am and the Religious Service at 11:00 am. The burial will be held at a later date in private.
The family would like to thank the Homestead Assisted Living and Hope Hospice for the care shown to Mr. Henry and their whole family.
