So sorry to hear about Ricky's passing. I played with and against Ricky in many softball games back in the 70s. His competitive spirit was contagious. In addition, I looked forward to our weekly pick- up basketball games on Sundays at St Cecilia. I would run into him occasionally at Red's. Lots of fond memories. Condolences to Wade and the rest of his family. You are in my prayers.

I am shocked to hear about Ricky passing away. We got to know each through work and spent lots of time together in Lafayette and Houston. I know that he was a child of Christ and is with our Lord and Savior now.
I will miss our long conversations catching up on things and occasionally meeting for lunch. My prayers are with the family as I know he was devoted to you.

Like Donnie i played Softball with "Latch" he loved it and was very good at it and Basketball. I could talk for days on our friendship and experiences together! I moved away in 1990 but i heard Ricky played into his 60´s at a very high level! RIP Buddy gone but never forgotten.

Ricky was so passionate about sports. We played many softball games in the late 80's and early 90's. He made the competition fun and was always a leader on the field. It did not matter if you played on his team or against him, he had a presence and charisma that could not go unnoticed. Those years in my life are very fond memories and much of that is because of Ricky. I will keep you close in my daily prayers my friend. Donnie Boutin
