Wayne Bourg

Wayne John Bourg, 72, of Montegut, passed away on October 2, 2025. Visitation will be held on October 9, 2025, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma Bayou Blue from 9:00am until funeral service starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Montegut La. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Susan Pinel Bourg; daughter, Regina Quick ( John); brothers, Charles Bourg ( Jean), Andrew Bourg Jr, and Todd Bourg; grandchildren, Austin Ledet ( Seaira ), Koby and Kaley Quick; great-grandchildren, Axton, Valentina, Lucian, Shay, and Julian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew R Bourg SR and Rose Crochet Bourg; sister-in-law, Lisa Prosperie Bourg. Wayne was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved spending his time fishing, wood working and gardening. The family would like to thank Terrebonne General / Mary Bird Perkins cancer center for there love and care these past few years and Hope Healthcare and Hospice for taking such great care of Wayne during his time of need.
