John Clomon Obituary

Clomon, John Wesley Sr. John passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at the age of 92. He was born August 23, 1922 in Tyler, TX to the late James C. and Beulah E. (Overton) Clomon. He was united in marriage to Jewel L. Morgan on August 3, 1944, they were married for 68 years. Jewel preceded him in death. John was a loving and devoted husband and father to his 3 sons. John was with Michigan Employment Security Commission for many years. He also was the owner and operator of the Clomon Barber Shop for several years. John also enjoyed drawing and blues. John is survived by children, John Clomon, Stephen (Shery) Clomon and Craig Clomon; 3 grandchildren, Stephen Clomon, Jr., Erica Hart and Chris Jones; 2 great grandchildren, Jada Rae Clomon and Carter James Hart; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Clomon. A private burial will take place in Genesee Prairie Cemetery. Arrangements at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
