Linda Bright Obituary


Linda K. Bright, 73, of Church Street in Ludlow, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon May 3, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie. She was born on December 5, 1951, in Dubois, PA, the daughter of the late Clarence Vibbert and Roberta (Burley) Vibbert. She worked in home health care as a caregiver and aide.
Linda loved her time with her family which included a every weekend get together. She loved to cook and bake, especially for her family. During the summer months she especially loved cookouts and she loved the Christmas holiday. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, never missing a chance to watch them play. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, playing cards, Uno and Skipo. She also liked Stars Wars and Manal, and took great care of her goldfish, chickens and her dog.
Left behind to cherish Linda's memory are her loving husband William G. Bright, Jr. at home, her children Bobbie (Dan) Langworthy of Ludlow, Pa, Kim Langworthy, of Bradford, PA, Anglea Tamborella of Gulfport, Mississippi and ex son in law Dave Tamborella, II of Joelton, Tennessee. Her stepchildren, Beck Bright (Arian) of Bradford, PA, Tracey (Eric) Koller of Pataskala, OH, and Ryan (Dawn) Yost of Youngsville, PA. Her grandchildren, Chris (Sky) Armstrong of Ludlow, PA, Dale Tamorella, III, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, Gauge Watkins of Gulfport, Mississippi, Brittany Tamborella of Joelton, Tennessee, and Freddy Bailey of Sheffield, PA. Step Grandchildren, Greg, Jeffrey, Joe, Bryan, and Tim Yost. Great Grandchildren Eyesleigh and Bellamy Tamborella of Greenbrier, Tennessee and Jamie Brom, Mattingly Hunter of Joelton, Tennessee and her siblings, Den Vibbert, Shirley Lican, David Vibbert, John (Carol) Vibbert and Sonny Vibbert.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Chuck, sister Nancy, brother Butch, sister in law Donna, sister, Carol, Niece Jamie, Brother in law Nunny, and her father and mother in law Glen and Grace Bright.
There will be no calling hours or services observed for Linda.
