I´ve known Alan since he was born. The Wallis´ and Brewers were very close. Alan´s sister Marilyn was my best friend until her death. He was my brother Greg´s lifelong friend. I was so saddened to hear of Alan´s passing. He had such a good soul. He was sweet, yet had that mischievous laugh at the same time. He had a fun loving personality that drew everyone in and they just wanted to hang out with him. Just being around him guaranteed a good time. He loved his family beyond measure. He was another brother to me in my mind. And even though we didn´t get to see him very often, when we did, it was right back to our old times. I know he was greeted by Marilyn, Jimmy and Geneva when he passed over. Being in the presence of our Lord is his reward for being such a great guy. Praying for peace to Ellen and the family. He will be missed immensely.

Oh Alan you will be missed by so many people. We have so many great memories with Alan. His big smile and great laugh we loved so much. So many stories we could tell about him helping us with our pool. Something would happen and he would just shake his head at Tom and start laughing then they would go get beer and talk about what they needed to do next. We Love you and your Family You will be missed dearly my Friend tell we meet again Tom and LeAnn

I was so sad to hear that Alan is gone, but certainly not forgotten.
I met Alan over 25 years ago when I started working for Alcoa/Arconic in the shipping department.
Once a year, I would go to Spirit to conduct a physical inventory of Arconic inventory located at Spirit.
Alan was so easy to work with and he always knew how to figure out when we had inventory discrepancies.
We became friends over those years.
My birthday is on May 5th, so we always wished each other happy birthday every year.
It was crystal clear to me how much he loved his wife and kids and grandkids.
He showed me pictures of the grandkids when they were born and was so proud of those kiddos.
Alan made my job so much easier because even when I messed up on a shipment, Alan found a way to fix stuff so I didn't have to worry.
I hope you all remember those great memories with Alan and never forget how much he truly loved you all.
May God provide you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Alan was always a jokester. A hard worker, and someone I could call on to help when my parents were needing help with something fixed on their pool!! Many memories @ Table Rock when I was younger when he and Ellen and my parents would go boating. Ellen taught me to water ski.. Oh the memories!! My heart breaks for your family, and I will keep you in my prayers! I know the heavens have their hands full now!! :)
