Alden Hart Obituary
Alden was born April 4, 1926, in Red Bluff. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in the Philippines during World War II.
When he returned to Red Bluff, he married Alta Hart. They had six children. After a divorce, he married Joyce Wallace in 1983.
Alden worked as a lineman and foreman for Pacific Gas and Electric and retired in April of 1991. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church since 1959, where he taught Sunday School for over 20 years. He enjoyed Bible study, working in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren. He knew no strangers and always made everyone feel at home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Hart. He is survived by sons Alden Jr., Richard and Andrew; stepson Donald Hall; daughter Jennifer McMillin; stepdaughter Cindy Patchen; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Red Bluff at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, with Mike Schnase officiating.
Any financial contributions may be made to any Christian fund.

Papa, we miss you so much. You will forever be a part of us. I know that you are looking down on us and watching over us along with Grandma and Grandpa. Save a place for us with you when we all finally make it and make sure you have a cup of good strong coffee waiting for us!
