Wichita, Kansas - Charles D. Freeman, 92, Retired Insurance Agency Executive, passed away on June 30, 2023.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Larksfield Place Auditorium, 7373 E. 29th St. N.
He was born in Emporia, KS to Cecil and Mary Florence (Saffer) Freeman. He attended school in Liberal and Emporia, KS. He received his Bachelor of Science from Emporia State University in 1953.
Preceded in death by his sister, Barbara J. Harnden; and his wife of 71 years, Marjorie L. (Winters) Freeman.
Survived by his daughters, Diana Freeman and husband, Steve Arnold of Dallas, TX, Jo K. Freeman, and Terry Freeman, both of Wichita; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Charles and Marjorie Freeman Foundation at Emporia State University, 1500 Highland St., Emporia, KS 66801.
