Dear Jer & Gay, David & Chauntell,

Today, as you are all there at Saint Francis Church w/ Chris for the last time, I can only offer you my condolences, wishes and prayers for peace with the sad loss of your youngest child and brother. I further pray that you grant yourselves PEACE in KNOWING that each of you gave him all you could in his lifetime. As parents, you gave him your love, all your energy and time to help make his life the best you could with his complex, lifelong illness. As his brother, David, you also gave him those things, in addition to one of your kidneys to save his life when he was very young. As his sister, Chauntell, you also gave him hours and hours of kind, warm and tender, loving nursing care to ease his pain and bring him comfort in those last months of his life. Please also take comfort in our shared belief that you will someday see Chris, in heaven, where Chris will be healed of all he suffered in his worldly afflictions and you will all enjoy a happy, peaceful re-union.

Just remembering a time when Gay, Grandma Andra, and Chris visited us in Mississippi. He was such an active and energetic two year old-- running around the house, exploring everything, playing with his cousins. Praying for all of you during this very, very difficult time. Debbie

Jerry, Gay and family, I was saddened to read of Chris' passing. I remember when he was born. Can't believe 33 years have gone by so fast. Don't know if you are aware that we lost Terry 9 years ago. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. From an "old long lost friend".
