Clarence Holt Obituary
September 13, 1929 - December 20, 2023
Douglass, Kansas - Clarence Elbert Holt was born September 13, 1929 to Elbert Lacel Holt and Ula Velma Hall Holt, in Winfield KS. He passed away December 20, 2023 at 94 years old in Augusta KS. After graduating from Douglass High School in 1947, he married his high school sweetheart, Shirley Leona Paxson Holt in 1948. Served during the Korean War returning to raise his family in Wichita. After Shirley passed away, he married Sandy Canfield. Clarence worked in different fields including the aircraft industry retiring from Northrop Grumman. He is survived by his son Rod (Sara) Holt, daughter DeLynn (David) Fowler and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 26, with visitation beginning at Noon, at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Wichita. Military honors will follow at the Douglass, KS Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church, or to the Douglass Senior Center.
