Springfield, Missouri - Daniel "Dan" Webster Langhofer, age 81, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on September 5, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri. Dan was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Webster Daniel Langhofer and Jane Eva (Rosecrans) Langhofer on January 13, 1942.
He proudly served his country with the Air Force for six years. Dan later went on to work in Broadway theater as a production stage manager for multiple Broadway musicals. He enjoyed painting and woodworking.
Dan married the love of his life, Roberta "Bobbi" Ann Souder, on November 2, 1976, in Long Beach, California.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Webster and Jane Langhofer; brothers: Wesley Langhofer, and Robert Langhofer.
Dan is survived by his wife, Bobbi; his son, Dan Langhofer Jr.; his daughter, Dana Rogers; sisters, Carolyn Kay Jackson and Carla Sue Rogers; granddaughters: Courtney Rogers, Kayla Rogers; and multiple nieces and nephews.
A memorial service, where full military honors will be rendered, will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 2:00 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd., Springfield, Missouri. A private burial will be held at a later date at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
His care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
