To Danny's mom and family, my heartfelt prayers go out to you! I worked with Danny on 3rd shift at Wesley many, many years ago when I was a brand new R.N. and he was a respiratory therapist. What a sweetie he was!! We could laugh and talk about anything. He helped me through some difficult times and was always there to listen. We became good friends and co-workers. After I left Wesley when my 3rd baby was born, I lost track of him but I will never forget how kind and helpful he was and what a good person he was to everyone!! May you rest in peace! - Nancy S.

Uncle Dan, I miss you a lot. I can't wait to see you again in the arms of God. You were...and still are...the best uncle I have ever had. I think you probably see the floors right now and want to clean them! HEEHEE! I wish I could bring all of my books up there now and bring yours with me. I would also bring a TV and all my movies with me!...Miss ya.:-)

Uncle Danny...what can I say...You were such fun for us kids growing up...Heck, you were like a big kid yourself. There are so many good memories to keep us laughing about. Don't worry about Grandma...we will take good care of her (can't promise that Evan will do the floors). I am just thankful that you are not hurting anymore and that you are now in the comforting arms of our Lord. Most of all...I am thankful for the time you spent with Sydni. What a blessing you were to be a strong male figure in her life like you were in mine growing up. Sydni will always have memories of the fun times you guys would have over the summer. I love you Uncle Danny...keep a watchful eye over us for now and welcome us with your wonderful laughter when we come home.

Peace be with you, Danny. You were such a great friend to me as my Dad was dying way back in 1975 at Wesley. I was always glad to see you back then because I knew you would make me feel better. Cut you for high card? Love forever, Jeanne

Danny spent a lot of his life taking care of others. His time in Vietnam as a Medic was a difficult time in his life and would not speak of his time there, but it seemed to affect the rest of his life. He also was a great Respiratory Therapist and worked at several hospitals in Wichita. I loved working with Danny at Wesley. His humor was always at work, playing a joke on someone. I lost contact over the years, but he was not far from my thoughts. Rest well Danny, love you

Lorene, I was so sorry to read about your son, Danny in the paper. You have my deepest sympathy. Hope you are doing well. Hardly ever see any of the friends from Sears. I did get a card from Iva M., she is still living in Mo. Sincerely, Karen Maupin

I met Danny through my husband, and I worked with his future wife. Danny laughed at everyone's bad jokes....heck, Danny laughed at everything.
He was one of the genuinely good guys. Though we lost contact when he married and moved, I thought of him often through the years. Always fondly, and usually with laughter. What a great guy.
