It was great to know Dave. I was his optometrist the last 40 years. He always had a bright and easy smile and was a pleasure to know and work with. One of my favorite patients!

I remember working for Dave a loooooong time ago! He taught me so much! He was a great employer! I remember once when I first started, he called from another phone and acted like an angry customer, to see how I would handle it! haha, he came in a little bit later with a big smile on his face and his big rimmed sunglasses and I asked him what he was smiling about, I just got chewed out on the phone by a customer, He said 'I know, and you handled it very well Tammy!" I said, "How did you hear about it already?" He said," I was the angry customer, Tammy and you handled it really well, Good job!" Needless to say, I was relieved!! You will be missed Dave! We are praying for healing and peace as you all are going through this difficult time. So sorry to hear of your loss.

Dear teddy,
Dave was always so fun to be around, quick to make a joke, or just to be a goof in general, when we think of him he will be remembered for his laughter; i remember when j.b. sprayed dave with the garden hose at his pool party, it makes me smile when i remember things like that, he will be missed.

Dear Brian, Anita and Teddy,
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your dad and husband. Your dad and I were always friendly competitors and had some really great laughs together. He always had a hug for me and a big smile. When our Ks NSPI chapter was active, I could always count on your dad. He was a great industry supporter. Please let me know if I can do anything to assist you in the coming days with your business. May God Bless you both. I am sure you will find many ways to keep your dad alive in your hearts and minds. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

I will pattern my Customer Service dept. after Dave's His Attitude,Values & the Satisfaction of helping others meant more to him than making money.

To the family of Dave,
My heart is truly broken. I worked for Dave for 4 years about 15 years ago. I have such fond memories of Dave. Probably the best was that he nicknamed me Sylvia. :)
Please know you are all in my thoughts during this time.
