Elizabeth Septer Obituary

Septer, Elizabeth Jeanne ("Betty Northop"), the beloved matriarch of our family has gone home to be our Guardian Angel in Heaven. Elizabeth was born on March 27, 1926 in Cairo, KS and departed this life on May 20, 2011 in Wichita, KS. She was the daughter of Walter E Northrop and Elvira Belle (Meredith) Northrop. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son (Douglas Septer), three sisters, one brother, one granddaughter, one step-grandson, three great grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Elva Nelson, Pampa, TX; William (Joyce) Septer; Donald (Belita) Septer; Mary (Gary) Johnson; Vivianne (Dwight) Bowyer all of Wichita. Sisters Barbara Logan and Janice Conner of Hutchinson; Ruth White of Wichita; Winifred Mings of Park City; and Karen Conner of Topeka; brothers Charles Northrop of Towanda; and Harry Northrop of California. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren including Loretta (Erikson) Caballero, Shannon Erikson, Melvin Lee Erikson Jr, Heather (Reed) Stewart, and Jeremy Septer, 38 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 13 step grand children, 30 step great grandchildren, 20 step great great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 24, 2011 from noon to 4pm at Baker Funeral Home, 6100 E Central; Wichita, KS. Services will be held at Calvary's Rock Church, 2661 S Meridian Ave, Wichita, KS on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 10:00am with a viewing from 8:30am to 10 am. Graveside services to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt, KS at 3:00pm.
