Rick was an enthusiastic member of the RHS choir when I joined the faculty in '68. Our paths crossed a few times in the following years, and we renewed connection by e-mail. He was also the spark plug at his class reunion which I was able to attend. Judie and I send our love and prayers to Rick's family.

Rick was a dear friend of mine at RHS and as an adult. The class of 1970 has lost a great member and leader. We will miss him so much as we plan future reunions. My sympathy goes out to Debbie and his son as he always talked of them with such love. Love, Kathy

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Rick. What an amazing soul and someone I will never forget.
I had the pleasure of meeting Rick when I was the caterer for Grandys in the mid 80's and he was head of the BEA. Rick was a pure joy to work with organizing the annual picnic for the BEA. He was a perfectionist and it made it so easy to make the event of 1500 plus such a success because of his planning skills. But even better was the friendship we built during that time. I was so blessed by his kindness, support, wonderful humor and his passionate way to how he approached life in general. His constant enthusiasm about life was contagious and I will always remember the feeling of being swept up in his joyous approach to everything....
Thank you Rick for blessing me with your friendship. And please know Debbie that you and your family are in my prayers during this most difficult time. Remember to not just talk about Rick all the time but remember how it feels when you say his name each time. It will help with your grieving as you travel this new journey you are beginning.....

Debbie & Mike, As you know Rick and I were both active in tourism and the Santa Fe depot here in Kingman. I'm sure going to miss being able to "sound off" with him. We were both kind of hard-headed and stubborn but believed in doing things right. Rick was a great friend.

Rick was a good friend of mine for nearly 33 years. He was there in good times and bad. Rick and I talked in 2-way radio talk with each other. We both had radio "handles". Rick was "Bulldog" and I was "Bullfrog". Bulldog has now gone 10-7 with Bullfrog. Bulldog is going 10-8 with the Lord. Rick was a true buddy. That's a BIG 10-4.
