With the holidays just around the corner the memories of my Aunt Evelyn come to mind. I remembered her coming to my grandpa & Ma Ornelas bringing all of us kids stocking full of goodie´s and always had something special for me being her goddaughter. She would let All of us kids have a sleepover at her house. I would always go to church with her. And our shopping sprees were magical. I love you and will forever be in my heart.

It has been a difficult year losing so many loved ones. I will always remember when I was young mom and dad loved visiting you and you would come over to our home. You were an excellent cook and I loved yur mole. Most of all you were always there for the family in good times and in bad. Your laugh I will remember, your thoughfullness and caring demeanor came natural. Time and life got away from us and sadly we didn't get to see each other as often. Always remember you were loved and appreciated by many and there is definitely another angel watching over us. My condolences to my cousin's Ben, Mike, Lydia and Cynthia.

Love you "Madrina"! Thank you for all of the beautiful memories! So many fun sleep overs! So many small funny things you did when I was a little girl, like check my belly when I´d say I was full...you´d tell me you felt more space and ask me to take more bites to fill up the space. lol. I do these things to my grand babies now, they love it! You´ll always be in my heart godmother! Anita

Heaven just welcomed a true angel. My memories of my aunt Evelyn were full of love. She was so caring and had a heart of gold. I was so blessed to have called her my Godmother. And will cherish the times I got to spend with her growing up. Sending prayers and my love. Maria (Gallardo) Cain
