We went through a lot as we shared many of the cutting edges of radio and TV.
Faye never failed to keep his end of the bargain and a few times was passed over when he should have been given accolades. I worked with him and at times we were competitors and he never let me down. I am late in telling all of you that Faye was a good man but it has been nearly a year now since his death. Faye at times would call just to say hello and I miss those calls. I should have known.
I'm sorry Faye. But now you are in good hands.

My very dearest friend and whom I called Uncle Faye, will be GREATLY MISSED. But he is with his LORD, Who is greatly to be praised. "Uncle Faye" was always with me or momma when we were in the hospital, ans sometimes, he'd be in the pre op area praying fo us. One time a nurse over heard the prayer and said that was so comforting. I'll greatly miss you Uncle Faye. I love you.sorry I didn't attend your farewell. See you soon.

Faye was instrumental in leading my father, Everett Loghry to the Lord. Faye holds a special place in my heart for his love of the Lord, and his fellow man. May God give you comfort t this time.

Faye and I go back a long way to Feb. 1st, 1965 the day I went to work at KFDI. He helped me get started selling radio ads and then in when KFDI went 24 hrs. in Dec. 1966 I told Faye I needed some kind of opening & closing theme for my show at midnight. He took me into the production studio and in less than 15 minutes he ad libed an open and close for the Little Donnie Do-Dad show that I used for over 30 years. I've never forgotten his help and his friendship. Rest in peace, ole friend.

Mr. Graves brought a lot of great Southern Gospel music to South Central Kansas. That has lead to a great amount of pleasure for me. Thank-you Faye Graves.

Thinking of all of you at this time. Always enjoyed seeing and working with Faye throughout the years. He was such a caring and compassionate person and always had a chuckle to share. Lots of wonderful memories for all of you to heal with. Cathy Kitchen
