Fred Darnell Obituary

Darnell, Fred "Dick", 79, ret. heating supervisor with Wichita Public School system USD 259 entered the gates of Heaven on Oct. 11, 2007. Longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Funeral service is 3:30 pm, Saturday, Oct. 13 at Resthaven Mortuary. Graveside to follow at Maize Park Cemetery. Preceded in death by wife Edna Mae. Survivors are son, Fred Jr. and wife Mary of Wichita; daughters, Brenda Bates and husband Bob of Garden City, KS and Linda Johnson and husband Steve of Sherwood, AR; grandchildren, Ann Foster, David Douglas, Scott Darnell, Clark Bates, Lisa (Douglas) Land; 4 great grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice In Patient.
