Heidi Peltzer Obituary
October 23, 1970 - June 22, 2023
Wichita, Kansas - Heidi M. Peltzer was born in Wichita on October 23, 1970, to William C. and Mary K. (Kavanagh) Peltzer and passed away at her home on June 22, 2023. Heidi is survived by siblings, Rev. H. Michael Peltzer, Chris Peltzer and Theresa (Mike) Elpers. Heidi attended St. Francis of Assisi School and graduated from Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in 1989. She graduated from Creighton University in 1993 with a degree in Journalism and worked in that field at various locations for some time. Heidi enjoyed her nephews, Jack Nowlin, Jacob (Katie) Elpers, Jesse (Emilie) Elpers, Isaac Elpers and her niece, Tara (Carlos) Munoz. She especially enjoyed buying silly presents at Christmas for her 3 great nieces, Elizabeth, Rebekah and Isabelle, and great nephew, Diego. Heidi had a real love for animals, especially her dogs Dirk and Cappy. Heidi was very musically talented. She could pick up any instrument and would teach herself to play it. A Rosary service will be held at 12:30 pm, with a Funeral Mass following at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, July 6, 2023, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials have been established with St. Francis of Assisi Church, Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Kansas Humane Society.
