Hugh "Red" Williamson

August 16, 1930 - April 11, 2025

Clearwater, Kansas - Hugh E. "Red" Williamson died on April 11, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1930, in Clearwater, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents James F. and Jennie (Struthers) Williamson and all five siblings: Doris, Richard, Ruth, Edith and Judith.

Red was united in marriage to Carol Ann Sisson, in 1957. She preceded him in death. Red worked at Vulcan Chemicals. After he retired, he worked at Webb Shinkle Mortuary.

Red is survived by his children Cindy (David) Packard, Wendy Williamson and Barbara Williamson and two granddaughters Jenna (David) Stone and Christa Packard.

Visitation with family present will be Sunday, April 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary in Clearwater. Graveside service will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Clearwater Cemetery.

Red was a great guy. My late husband and I knew him from Clearwater Lodge. He will be missed! Hope he goes and finds Mike up there in heaven and can reminise.
