Douglass, Kansas - James D. Garrigus, age 80, passed away, Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Visitation, 1 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, with family present from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Funeral Services, 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20, both at Shinkle Mortuary, Haysville. Preceded in death by his wonderful sons, Greg and Michael Garrigus; parents, Howard and Jewell Garrigus; siblings, Barbara and Danny. Survivors, wife, Linda Garrigus; daughter, Lea Swinford; first wife, Eileen Garrigus; siblings, Charles, Lonnie, Jerry, Brenda, Cheryl, Carol, Larry; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Memorial: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St. Jude’s Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959. www.shinklemortuary.com.
