You were such a good father,son and friend.I know that you are missed so very much.I think alot about the time you went hunting with your father and you have to be very quiet but your dad told me you talked alot and kept standing up and moving around we both though that was so funny.Jason you will always be in my heart.

I knew Jason through High School and have just heard the sad news of his passing. Its been a long time since I have seen him but my memories of Jason are that he was an easy going, very fun to be around guy. It is without saying that he will be missed by those that he has touched throughout his life. Jason and his family will be in my prayers. My sincere condolences.

I learned of Dougan's death this past weekend. Many memories came flooding back from high school, junior high and little league baseball. I haven't seen Jason since graduation but I remember him as a fine athlete and friend. May God be with his children, family and close friends.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived
okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here
is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up
and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were
gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for
me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's
chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life
on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not
be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But
one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a
time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will
give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day
was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the
way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

him up, as on your way you go.

I also knew Jason in JR High and HS. Although I had not talked to him in years, I was completed stunned to hear of his passing. I know there are no words to help ease your pain, but I am so very sorry. I will cherish the happy memories I have of Jason.

To the family members of Jason. I met Jason and his family years ago in Haysville. We all lived at the Sarah Lane Apartments, and attended Haysville Baptist Church next door with Pastor Shaw. I remember hanging out with Jason, Wesley (his older brother), and Martin (my older brother), and our moms (Ola & Patricia) would hang out. I remember Jasons smile and kindness. I have not seen Jason in many years. I have often wondered how he was and what he grew up to be. I see by the letters left before and after mine that he was a great person all these years and has touched a lot of hearts. May God Bless his entire family at this time of sorrow, but remember Jason is still with us and always will be, some way, some where, some how. He may be the childrens laughter, the ornament on the tree, a favorite meal being cooked. When he is no longer with us that is because we forgot him. Please allow his spirit to live as I will in respect of all the lives he has touched. I am gone for now, but not forever! Be safe!

First of all my thoughts and prayers to all of "JD's" family, I am truely sorry to hear of your loss, he was a GREAT FRIEND and MAN he will be missed very much. As i sit here at this computer i can't help but think to myself what an idiot i was to not have picked up the phone and call him. So many days passed by and I thought I'll call him today or just get ahold of Micha somehow to see how they are doing and I would get busy then say I'll do it tomorrow. And like always tomorrow never came for that I won't forgive myself so JD I am sorry man!!! I wish i could have been there to talk to you the way you were there to talk to me when i need someone to talk to. I am sorry I didn't reach out to you earlier. You were always making us laugh and so much fun to hang out with. I am so overcome with saddness it is difficult to finish this entry so i will end with this: Life is truely too short, time will pass us by and we all need to take the time out of our busy schedules to tell those around us thank you for being apart of my life and I love you for helping me become the person I am today. Jason and I went to high school together, and he was always such a wonderful friend. He was also one of only a few fellow 49ers fans along with me. I am deeply saddened by the passing of such a wonderful and truly nice person. Jason was kind to everyone, and made others feel at ease. I will never forget when I met you my 8th grade year. You sat behind me in Spanish class. You were the reason I fell in love with the 49ers (Montana/Rice). I can still hear your laughter and recall all of the fun times we shared. I will also always cherish the memories that you, J.M., and I shared. I can still picture you in your Colt’s football jersey and recall all of our rowdy times that we shared with Steve, Brian, Chad, Mike, and all the girls. Your presence was always a highlight at all of the get togethers. Although we all graduated and moved on with our lives ~ you were never forgotten. Jason was my brother-in-law. He may not have been my real brother, but he was the closest thing I will ever have to one. He has been in my life since I was 6. I can still vividly remember the first time I met him at his mom's house. Definetily the most sports obsessed person I ever knew! I grew up to love him. I spent many nights at his house growing up. I will miss our inside jokes and him kidding me about stupid stuff. He always treated me like I was his own little sister.

I could hardly believe it when I heard Jason was gone. It has been a while since I have seen him, but growing up he was always a true and loyal friend to me. Jason was such a carefree, funny, and loving person. It broke my heart to hear he was gone. It brought back so many memories from my sister's passing that I am at a loss for words.
