Wichita, Kansas - Jereldeen (Reed) Harpool passed from this life on Aug. 7, 2023. Born Dec. 17, 1928 to William and Lenora Reed in Evansville, AR, she was the youngest of their three daughters. Jereldeen moved to Wichita in 1946 to be near to her parents, There she met and married David Harpool. The Harpools attended seminary in Little Rock, AR then returned to Wichita to start their ministry and their family. Jereldeen's greatest joy was found in her children and grandchildren, who will remember her love and example of Christian faith. Jereldeen was preceded in death by her husband David, daughter Jenna Engels, and son-in-law David Henson. She is survived by her daughters Judith Henson, Jill Strunk, son Stephen (Tracy), her grandchildren Angela, Clara, Tanner, Gus, Logan, and Nathan and great-grandson AJ. Visitation to be held at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (2102 S Emporia St) at 9 AM on Saturday Aug 19, 2023 with services to follow at 10 AM. www.CochranMortuary.com

I remember your father and mother from days passed. I babysat for them as they went on visitation for the church and while we were at the ABA meeting in Oklahoma. Loved hem both and always wondered about them after we moved to Aurora, Colo. May you rejoice in knowing that she is with Jesus and without the pain and the knowledge of this old world.
