Hello Kurt, Kelly & Janeen......it has been a good many years since we have seen each other but wanted to give our thoughts and concerns on the passing of Jim. I was at the service but had to leave before chatting with you all. Kevin and Bart Case

Jim Kerns exemplified all the qualities of a great man, husband, friend, father, and grandfather. He showed great kindness, love and care for all. I am honored to have known him and proud to witness his qualities living on within his family members. He was a rock and he will be missed.

I've known Jim for all of my life. He was family. He always took such great pride when I would tell him how much he reminded me of his dad Merritt. Merritt and Hazel raised a good boy. Rest in peace old friend.

My memory of Jim during high school is of a person always upbeat and positive. I had the opportunity to visit with Jim during one of his business trips to Missouri. He remained his genuine congenial nature. I also met him a couple of years ago at one of the alumni breakfasts in Wichita. Still upbeat. A good guy. A sad loss.

Rest Jim, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.
Thank you for your service to this nation.
