Jo Baalmann Obituary

Wichita, Kansas - Jo Ann (May) Baalmann, age 73, retired office manager for B&B Lumber, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, after a long and heroic battle with ALS. Visitation, 9am-3pm, Tuesday, August 17, at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, Clearwater. Rosary, 7:30pm, Tuesday, August 17; Funeral Mass, 10:30am, Wednesday, August 18, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Schulte. Jo was a member of the Daughter's of Isabella and St. Peter's Altar Society. She also served on St. Peter's School Board for many years and was involved with numerous parish projects. Jo loved spending time with her grandchildren and traveling throughout the world. Preceded by parents, Ronald and Ruth May. Survived by husband, Harold; sons, Troy (Jessica) Baalmann of Gardner and Jeremy (Kristen) Baalmann of Wichita; siblings, Rick May of Cochranville, PA, Dawn (Alan) Lutz of Sinking Springs, PA, Jesse (Lisa) May of Robesonia, PA, Jim (Kim) May of Muhlenberg, PA; grandchildren, Andrea, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Hunter, Randy, Ashley, Jaaret.
