John Deuser Obituary

Wichita, Kansas - John Scott Deuser, 78, passed away on November 4, 2023 in Wichita, Ks. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Kansas City, KS to John E. and Helen M. Deuser. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Debbie; three sons, Brad Deuser and his wife, Tamara, Aaron Deuser, and Paul Deuser; his sister, Kathy Parrett; and two grandsons, Gavin and Colin Deuser. John was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. A devoted father and husband, he and his wife, Debbie were involved in many church activities as longtime members of College Hill United Methodist. Quick with a smile or a joke, John loved traveling and surrounding himself with family and friends, often combining them together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A service in celebration of his life is scheduled for 1:00pm on Saturday, November 18th at College Hill United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to College Hill United Methodist Church.

I was in shock when I read of John´s passing. John touched so many lives in the very best way. I´m grateful I got the chance to know him as both a colleague and a friend.
I have fond memories working with John at Pizza Hut he was a great boss.

May God surround you with gentleness, special care, much family to walk with you as you travel this loss. I knew John back in the day when he was working with the umbrella of PHI.
John was our catcher and he and I threw many a guy out at home plate!
Later in my life, Pastor Max Clayton and the College Hill United Methodist Church became pivotal. John was there once more.
Odd how TLGA places great people in your life.
