Please accept my deepest condolence to the family of Dr. John Weninger. I will never forget him as a colleague who took away my fears and doubts about myself just because he was being himself. I first heard the word "whippersnapper" and thought he was talking about me (he was not). Then I realized I was putting myself down. Thank You Dr. Weninger. You will make the afterlife a better place wherever you are now.

I met Dr. Weninger when my Mother-in-law came to live with us. He was always very interested, not only how she was doing, but also in how her son and I was doing, saying that we had to care for ourselves before we could care for her, as if we got rundown and sick, who would take care of who ??? He alway made sure we had a laugh with each visit, and treated us like friends and not patient/care-giver. I was so sad when he retired, as I enjoyed talking to him but I knew he earned the right to have time for himself and family, time with his family that was
lost during a demanding practice, caring for his patients in need of care after office hours.
May God comfort and guide you during your time of grief, and hold tight in your heart and mind the memories that will bring you comfort and a laugh when times are tough and rough.
Deepest sympathies to his family and friends, and while I barely knew him, I feel as I lost a friend twice, when he retired and now with his passing, he seemed to be that type of a person, a new friend you just met !!!!!

He was our doctor starting around 1965 or so. In those years, I can remember when he had ashtrays in his waiting room. Boy, have times changed! Best wishes to Dr. Weninger on his new journey, and my condolences to his family.

I first met John in 1965 in his office. He delivered my daughters in 1968. We doctored with him until about 1990. He was always a gentle soft spoken man. Liked him from day one and I know he will be missed. We had a lot of laughs together.
