Wichita, Kansas - Jolene R. (Schaaf) Novascone, 82, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Rosary will be at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2023; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 4, 2023, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Alice Schaaf. Survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Larry Novascone; children, Laurie (Carlos) Labarca, Frank (Denise) Novascone, Mike (Dawn) Novascone, Mary (Tyler) Garretson, Dan (Danielle) Novascone; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kent (Blaine) and Keene (Lana) Schaaf. Memorials have been established with: Assistance League of Wichita, P.O. Box 8072, Wichita, KS 67208; St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, 1215 N. Stratford Ln., Wichita, KS 67206. I am heartbroken to hear of Jolene´s death ! So many beautiful memories pop up of kids growing up, working with her in Assistance LEague and always a trailer attached to her vehicle hauling something to her rentals!
