Josh I don't remember if I told you but you had an outstanding funeral. Bob did such a great job and I know you liked the way he did it and what he said. Knowing you, you would know lots of people came to pay respect to the best man I've ever known. I told you before but I am telling you I have always been proud to be your dad, Love you...

I just found out that Josh was one of Jeremy's friends and am so very sorry for your loss. The one good thing I can say is that Jeremy and Josh are together again enjoying the things they did together while here on earth.

Oh Josh. I dont know what to do ne more. I am so miserable all the time. I am so depressed and I know you hate me, but I hope u can forgive me. This is the only way I can talk to u. I dont know what to do anymore. I hate my life now and everything, except ONE thing, and u know what that is. I hope this pain and sadness will eventually go away, could u help me with that?! I never liked tatoos or body piercing, and that included Josh's but I found that I could not dislike Josh. He was a free spirit that, although not always, frequently did what he wanted in spite of anyones elses opinions. He had many flaws but the one flaw he never had was trying to be someone he wasn't. If he did something he always did it full force, and was always genuine Josh. It is a better world for his having been here and a lesser one for his absence. I wish he had had more time to enjoy this world, but know that he made the most of the time he had here. I refuse to miss him because he will always be in my memories.

Josh was such a gift for Ryan's family and friends last October; his words made Ryan's service so much more personal and heartfelt. My son Sage only met him that one time but remembers him well, he had such a vibrant personality and somehow seemed to make everyone around him comfortable during such a hard time. I had lost touch with Josh over the years but when I saw him it seemed he hadn't changed at all, he still had the soul of a young man with the mind of a wise, grown man. What I will remember most is the way he lit up while telling me about his boys, and how each one had his own unique personality. It's so hard to make sense of what has happened, but I do believe he will always be right there with his family and friends.

My heart goes out to you during this terrible time. I have been thinking about all of you since I heard the tragic news on Saturday morning.
Please know that there is SO MUCH LOVE AND SUPPORT for you! I've heard such moving stories from people who knew Josh. I know how much Heather loved him, and his three wonderful sons. She spoke of them often.

There r so many things I want to tell you. So many good times that were still supposed to come. I knew u and loved u my whole life even when we were fighting as brothers and sisters do. There will forever be a missing piece of my life little brother. Words just don't do even a little bit of justice to the hurt I am,feeling. Well theres a lot I could say, one thing really stands out you used to live right down the street from me in Augusta. You(Joshy), Jason(Haggy) & Kevin(kiwi) all attempted to teach me how to skate, lol. There were lots of fun days. I love you dearly. Your a wonderful friend, always there no matter what it was for! I remember going to the bar and watching Josh and his band play. Me and Josh were not the closest of friends but he will always be my brother. He will be dearly missed and the memories will forever be lodged in peoples minds. He was funny when he needed to be and serious when he had to be thats the Josh that everyone should remember. So difficult to imagine all of the lifes Josh touched during his short time here on earth. I know he brought plenty of happy memories from the time we knew him. Josh and I spent a lot of time together driving to RC races and racing together. Earlier this Spring I helped him prepare for his placement tests for school. The whole time he kept a positive attitude and wanted to do the best that he could. I will never be able to forget his friendly personality and and incredible attitude toward everything.
