Katherine Mies Obituary
October 31, 2025
Andale, Kansas - Katherine "Kathy" Briana Mies, 58, loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and homemaker, died Friday, October 31, 2025.
Rosary will be at 7 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 6, 2025, both at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, St. Mark, Kansas.
Kathy graduated in 1985 from Garden City High School as an honor roll student and attended Garden City Community College. She was proud to be a homemaker, mother, grandmother and business partner to her husband. Kathy loved scrap booking, quilting, and was active in St. Mark's Church.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Greg Mies of Andale, Kansas; daughters, Bailie Foster, Teagan (Wade) Reynolds, Carmen Mies; sons, Josh Mies, Isaac Mies; grandson, Dean Gregory Reynolds; mother, Ruth Day; numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921, and online at compassion.com. Donations will also be accepted by St. Marks Altar Society.
