CONWAY SPRINGS-Simon, Katie 90, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018. She was born Feb. 7, 1928 at Pawnee Station, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar on September 8, 1989. Also preceded by parents: Chester and Ettie (Hawkins) Harvey; four brothers; four sisters and one son, Joseph Simon. Survivors include: son, Darren of Conway Springs; daughter, Cindy (Mark) Shaw of Seattle, WA; sisters; Bonita Wrestler of Chanute, Joan Ellis of Fort Riley; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial Service 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018, United Methodist Church. Private inurnment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Savonburg, KS. Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Katie. I remember how kind she was to me when Cindy got married. What a lovely legacy she leaves behind.
