Just looked through West High 1972, saw Kurt's photo. Knew him in High School. So I typed his name in the internet and saw this sad news. God bless his soul and his family. Cordially, Donna Young, Wichita West High Classmate

I have many memories of Kurt, from fishing stories, to trolling motor repair, to Rock band music he performed. He beamed with a real brightness when talking of Vettes and he was a walking encyclopedia of information. It's a smile that will shine on and on.

I'll never forget the help Kurt gave me; I wouldn't have the Vette I own without his help of obtaining it. I think of him every time I put on and wear the Z06 cap he gave me when I received my new Vette! I will greatly miss his sense of humor and our conversations!

I will miss Kurt - immensely. From fishing trips to trips to the flight simulator, from making fishing lures ( I still have several Geis flipping jigs and spinner baits), and being a neighbor. Kurt - when I get to heaven - meet me at the korner (whenever I said corner - he'd make fun of my southern accent and say " how do you spell that? "korner?" Dear friend - we'll meet again one day.

Dear Kurt & Karin. My fondest memories were our monthly Midway USA newsletter get together where the measure of a good newsletter was made by the amount of Bitburger beer we drank... or so we thought :-) Karin always had the best meal prepared for us. That girl sure can cook! One of my favorite photos attached.
