I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Lendell when we were in youth group together at the Derby Nazarene Church. We tried dating for a short while. He was very kind hearted and a free spirit. I haven't seen him since those days, but it sounds like he had quite a life--a marine, and three kids. I know most of his brothers and sisters and his mother, Juanita. I wish you all peace that passeth all understanding. God bless and keep you.

Dear Uncle Lendell,
You were a quiet soul who loved your family so much!! You were taken from us too soon, and will be missed greatly. I remember all the fun times growing up. You gave me my first ride on a Harley, tubing at Cheney Lake, and talking about Marines (you gave me the inside scoop of what to do in boot camp), but I decided that I wasn't tough enough to join. You helped me with some plumbing issues with my first house, and helped move me into my 2nd house. I always liked going to your house because of the two cats you had, Spook and Roach. Going to see you at Camp LeJeune hanging on the beach picking up shark's teeth. Like you, I keep to myself and don't like to bother anyone, but would help out in a heartbeat if asked. Your smile lit up a room, and I do believe it's a Sinclair thing. You mean a lot to us all, and we will never forget you. Now you are in Heaven with Grandpa, so you can keep him and Uncle Clifford in line. I wish I could be there to say my final goodbyes, but I will see you again when it is time. I know you will miss your kids the most, but they will know that you are watching out for them from above. Love you lots!

Me and my Uncle Lendell - A fine looking Marine!
