Williams, Linza, 67, Wesley Medical Center employee, died Jan. 23, 2006. Wake 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jackson Mortuary; service 2 p.m. Saturday, New Zion Baptist Church. Survivors: wife, Betty Jean; sons, Anthony Laroy Thomas of Wichita, Keith Thomas of Salina, Linza Williams of Emporia, Quentin Williams of Wichita; daughters, Teresa Williams of Los Angeles, Thyra Brown of Denver, E. Dioane Roberts of Salina, Dorothea Williams of Houston; brothers, Earnest Williams of Kansas City, Mo., Rev. Calvin Williams, Floyd Williams both of Wichita; sisters, Florence Taylor of Houston, Lurinda Jackson of Wichita; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

To the Williams Family. I am sorry to hear of the lost of Linza. Terry(Birde) and Linza spent much time together and that was how I became to know Linza. Linza was truly an inspiration to both of use. He will be truly missed.
