Hutchinson, Kansas - Lloyd D. Coon, 92, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, KS.
Lloyd was born April 15, 1929 on a farm near Dalton, KS, the son of Clarence and Lucy (Schmeissner) Coon. On May 25, 1954, he married Dorothy Burnett. She passed away April 12, 2017.
He is also preceded in death by his parents; and son, Roy Coon.
Lloyd is survived by his daughters, Betty (Tony) Vernier of Ohio and Mary Coon of Hutchinson; a son, Barry (Jeanne) Coon of Oklahoma; brother, Kenneth (Kay) Coon of New Mexico; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1602 N. Main, Hutchinson. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or Hutchinson Lions Breakfast Club and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.

We loved when Lloyd and Dorothy Coon came to the reunions when we were young. They always brought ice cream bars packed in dry ice. They were amazing cousins. God Bless
