Concordia , Kansas - Lowell Clayton Stukey, Sr., 87, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on January 14th, 2023 at Sunset Nursing Facility in Concordia, KS. Lowell was born on December 28, 1935 to Leonard and Irene Stukey in Wichita, KS. He worked in industrial engineering at Boeing Aircraft, and Learjet. After he retired, he performed construction renovations for local homes & he was a bus driver for Village Tours for seniors. He loved his family, enjoyed golfing with his brothers, yard work, race cars, aircraft, and doing carpentry as a hobby. Lowell is survived by his wife Sammie of the home, sons: Corey Stukey and wife Charlotte of Bartlesville OK, and Ronny Stukey and wife Beth of Cushing OK, and daughters: Shelley Paschall and husband Eddie of Wichita, KS, and Tracy Stark of Chicago Il. Through his marriage of 37 years to Sammie, he added to his family: Brad and Laurie Deal of Concordia, KS, Bryan and Pam Deal of Concordia, KS, Branden Deal of Shawnee, KS, and Sam Deal of Concordia, KS.
He leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Irene Stukey, brothers: Gerald Stukey, Virgil Stukey, and Norman Stukey of Wichita, KS, two sisters: Joan Galloway of Pampa, TX, and Carolyn Johnson, Wichita, KS, and one son Lowell Clayton Stukey Jr. of Bartlesville, OK. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
