Margaret Nicholas Obituary

Nicholas, Margaret met her God on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She passed at home with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her daughter and son, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She came to Wichita from Central Kansas, as a young woman and married Robert upon his return from the Pacific Theater in WW II. Preceded in death by her husband in the late 90's. She spent the remainder of this time between the Bay Area in California with her son and in Wichita, with her daughter and son-in-law. A kind and gentle soul to all who did and didn't know her. No services or visitation is planned; there will be a private memorial by the immediate family. Memorial contributions suggested to St. Luke Presbyterian Church,1800 South Washington, Wichita, KS. 67211-4342.

Kay and Mark, sorry to learn of our mom's passing. Hope you remember me from31st Street many years ago. Margaret was such a fun person, always with a smile. I have been living in Lincoln, Ks for the past five years (my old home town). Mary Lynn (my youngest daughter) and her family live here, so I have family around. I am sure that Margaret was happy to be able to spend her time with her "kids".
