Every time I turn into Cherokee Ct. I remember Marilyn. From my move in day to her last day, she was always my comforting neighbor. I see her in the trees she planted - now tall and swaying in the breeze. I see her in her beautiful lawn. Her spirit lives. My heart goes to precious Janelle. I cannot imagine your sorrow. You are so brave. Your mother would be/is so proud of you.

Dear Marilyn, you were always there while my house was being built and for the past 30 years I have felt the comfort of you being my neighbor. With awe I have admired your beautiful yard, your crafts and your wonderful food. I cannot drive around the corner without my heart missing you and your little dogs. My first holiday alone was at Easter time and you invited me over for a wonderful luncheon. I don't think you ever knew how that helped to start the healing of my wounded heart and my journey of being alone. I admire you, I miss you, and I pray for your eternal peace. Grace and healing to your sweet daughter as she mourns you and her beloved brother.

I worked with Marilyn at the Post Office. We would talk about what we would do when we retired from work. We were the same age. She will be greatly missed by so many people. RIP my dear friend.

Marilyn was a delightful friend and positive capable woman who was dedicated to her family. Many prayers for Janelle and Melissa and grandchildren as they process the deaths of Marilyn and her son, Aaron occurring just 10 days apart.
