Wichita, Kansas - Marjorie Carol Gose (Veal), born September 20, 1935 to Alta Edna and Jim Veal, entered into Jesus' glory on April 12, 2025 at 89 years of age. Marjorie was born in Diamond Springs, KS and spent her younger years in the area before moving to Wichita in the early 1950s. Marjorie married Galen L. Gose on August 12, 1956. Early in their marriage, Marge was a school teacher in Newton and Wichita, KS. She enjoyed working with children and did so long after she left the teaching profession. The couple welcomed and raised two children: Sharon (Roger) Beck and Kent (Shannon) Gose. They moved into their forever home in 1967. Marjorie was a dutiful wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a wonderful cook-often making baked goods and meals from scratch. You always knew you'd leave full when you visited Marge! Marjorie was a proud Christian who attended Antioch Christian Church. She shared her love for Jesus with all who would listen. Her time spent reading devotionals, scripture, and listening to hymns was special to her. Marjorie embodied compassion and joy. She didn't know a stranger and was always willing to give to others. Marge loved to celebrate others and found joy in the small things, especially with her dogs. She loved her dogs and cherished them as faithful companions. Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Galen. Her sisters, Neva and Evelyn, also preceded her in death. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Roger) and son, Kent (Shannon); her grandchildren: Jacob (Nadia), Alyssa (Tyler), Kaitlyn (Josh), and Joshua. Marge was overjoyed at the news that she would be a great-grandmother later this summer. She is also survived by a multitude of friends.
