Derby, Kansas - Maureen Clark of Derby Kansas passed away November 10, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born July 29 1937 in Befordshire England. She moved to the United States in 1955 and became a United States citizen. She attended the Wichita Vocational School and worked at Wesley Medical Center for 17 years as a Medical Coordinator for the Prenatal Department. Maureen also worked in various medical offices in Wichita KS before retiring. She was an avid reader of British mysteries, enjoyed traveling and was a member of the local British Club. Maureen is survived by sons, Shaun Clark (Sharon) of Rose Hill and Woody Clark of Wichita Kansas; grandchildren Ian Clark (Mindy), Aaron Clark (Courtney), Taylor Albers (Jon) and Amanda Clark; great grandchildren Rory and Rylee Clark. She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Olive Byrne and daughter Barcie Clark. Services will be held November 20, 2021, 10:30 a.m., Smith Family Mortuaries, 501 S.E. Louis Blvd, Mulvane Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory in the Valley, 3755 East Douglas, Wichita KS 67218.

I worked with Maureen at KS&RC when it first opened. I loved visiting with her on breaks, she was a fascinating woman. I think of her often.

It's times like this that life reminds us of what is so precious. Find peace in your heart that your Mom knew you loved her very much. May God watch over you and bless you. Hold steadfast in her gifts to you all throughout her life. It will honor her to be remembered with love.
